Page Layout Development

I Developed a lot of different ideas on paper before digitaising my design. This saves me a lot of time and therefore the development digitally is very low as I haven't changed much between the layout that I first digitalised from my drawing ideas.

I am going to keep my pages consistent within the layout due to them all been the same event but within a different way. So here is how I developed the rest of my pages from my first.

So the main change I have done to this from my first mock-up is just taking some of the information out to make sure that it looks balanced and not overpowering with bodycopy. I am really pleased with the whole layout. I think it resembles the countdown before a film brilliantly.

I am going to apply each of these vector images behind the bodycopy on each page, just to add a little more to the page. I have reflected the layout as I thought it might get rather boring been totally the same layout. The sizes of the images have changed as well due to the quality of them... This is over lapping the page and therefore is bleeding onto the next page and the bodycopy is flowing around it.

I am not going to create an intro page as I want people to know who we are and then also what is going to be in that issue for that month...

I have used the same grid layout grid system although, I haven't followed the same layout due to there been no appropriate pictures to put on.

Overall I am very happy with the overall layout and I am going to send it to print before the final crit as its only a few pages and therefore not too much cost, then people can get the real feel of the laout & how it works as a book.
