Instore Promotion Development

On my trip to Morrisons I noticed that a lot of the banners wasn't just square and had little cut outs. This does make it more interesting and allows you to fit more on without the banner been too big.

This is my first one I didn't think I needed the manipulation of the shape, due to the minimal information needed on it. I think that I will only use the two primary colours in the banner as this will grab peoples attention and match the decor of the shop.

This is my second one I thought about using the block colour and the yellow for the bodycopy. This is only a reminder what to do and not to forget to look for the stickers on your shop. The remind them that they do get prizes if they do find stickers.

Then I tried the use of the manipulation of the shape. I think although, I don't need that space it makes the layout more interesting and engages with you more. The block colour leads the viewer over to the logo after the bodycopy due to them been in uppercase and across the top of the page.

This is another one using the logo at the top as this will give brand identification due to that been the first thing they see so it sticks in their mind. The bottom block in yellow can be read alone also so people can still understand the event without any confusion and needing more information as if they are interested they will look above and see the logo and this is what on the stickers on the products.

I then designed a aisle banner. When in Morrisons I noticed that a lot of the have also got interesting shapes. They tend to take up the full depth of the aisle, but quite narrow.

So I thought because of the shape been very narrow the information had to be minimal due to the line length that is possible. I wanted to included the logo as the main point as this would just be mainly a reminder than an informative promotion. I first designed it with just block green and then I thought I should really included another colour to make it more eye catching. I like the use of the shape and therefore there was no need in development for this element.
