So from the crit I found that I got some really useful feedback and found it very beneficial for someone to read through my work at a final crit which I have never had the full thing ready and printed out before, although this is more money I do believe that it gives the a little bit more knowledge about you and how you are going to presenting it so I think in future if its a little book I am going to print it before then also I can get the crafting skills perfected for the final final...
So from this feedback I decided to try out a few things....
So I tried a sans serif font, due to afterwards I asked Grace what kind of typeface she was thinking of and she said a serif font so it matches the art deco theme. Although once I did try it I didn't think it worked and I think although I have gone for an art deco font there is still a modern element about it and the font works well with the title font due to been a sans serif font. Therefore am going to stick to my original..
I tried taking of the vectors behind the bodycopy and I found that then the layout looked too boring an very corporate. I think we need the vectors for it to become more child friendly. And not too much of a serious read.
I also then added a contents page this worked well due to the page looking like it has a purpose it looked rather drowned by the negative space within this DPS so I am glad that someone mentioned this.
