RSVP Wedding Invitations

So now I am going to start design the RSVP. I am wanting to create the same style even though I am not going to make it on wood or use white ink. As this would turn things very tricky, costly & too heavy.

So I have decided to use handmade paper this will then match the hand made look & effect of the wedding itself and the natural stocks used. At the moment I am going to use black ink but this could change once printed and see how it looks.

I asked her what she wanted on the RSVP because I haven't received one before. So she told me she didn't want it to be restricted because the people who she is inviting won't take advantage of an open invitation so therefore she wanted it too be left open just incase she has left anyone out. She said she wanted how many people you wanting to bring 1-5 and then the names of the people and any dietary requirements. Then also a box to tick if your are coming and a box to tick if you are not.

I wanted the titles the same as the name font to make it the focus of the page.

I wanted to use the same fonts because of the different materials to try and link as much as possible. I think that the identification will be main form the lettering of the titles. I wanted the date of the reply to be placed at the focal of the page and wanted it to be sloted in somewhere next to the title rather than alone. So you read it RSVP kindly reply by December the 5th. Count me in, count me out, seats to be held in your honour.

I decided that I needed something below at the bottom so thought using the underline I used in the invitation would be a good bond and therefore I placed it at central bottom like on the invite. Also I changed the squares to circle due to the square was very sharp and didn't fit well with the aesthetic, I did try circle but then I thought hearts would be more appropriate.

Then the top right corner looked bland & I was thinking about a drawing I could add in. I though about a jam jar as I knew that these was going to be a key statement at the wedding with having them as the centre pieces on the table. I drew round a jam jar that I found online and then added my own touches such as the bow & heart for decoration.

I am very happy with the design & layout of this RSVP and it looks balance. Although there is a lot going on there is enough blank space to breath and take it all in.

Here is the printed material when printed onto the natural paper...

I am just going to print her RSVP's & her save the dates at home for her due to the colouring only been black therefore, this will be cheaper than sending it off and the homemade paper can be used. The quality has been high on this paper and the colouring has been correct so far.
