Checking Consistency

So today me & Sam came together to check our consistency of the project. We realised this was an important factor especially when we are used to working in totally different styles. We made a plan to have all our elements dedicated to use designed by today and that we would check consistency and whether we like them or which one we like best etc...

We realised that we both wasn't 100% satisfied with our work and therefore this made us doubt our strength within the competition.

So we decided to try and change the colour scheme as we thought this is what was making the design look cheap and hard to work with. We looked at all the other Morrisons elements such as the fuel saving branding and the nu.me branding to see if we could challenge any elements from them to enhance our design.

We looked on the M.kitchen blog this is where the put on recipes for people to try on low budgets and quick meals for busy families etc.. This led us to the colour of the beige where we thought this would work due to the colour of inspectors jackets been commonly know as the beige.

So I thought I would try this with my banner to see how it would work. I thought, this worked well and Sam also liked it, but then Sam tried it with her booklet she has made for the points card. But I did agree that it didn't work quite, we did pursue with this and tried many different variations but then we decided to call it a day and see if anyone could think of anything after a break because we started getting very frustrated and confused with how to make this work.
