Benwells Sample Pack

Benwells Sample Pack.

This is the pack I received from Benwells, I love the examples as they are highly finished which I know what Benwells expertise are within but the high amount & the high quality of the samples. I like how they have packaged the box and was also secure in the post and was delivered very quickly. This box could have been made by them using the a laser cutter to score the box and to make the net.

These all have some kind of finishings on them most been foils. Although they have used die cutting on the mailshot at the bottom. Also they have used die cutting but not cur through & used a bunt tool to carve into the blue business card at the top for park career designers. There is also the use of spot gloss on the black tag label for a clothing store I am guessing, also embossing on the Chanel business card with a high class textured paper similar to the paper used in the Victoria Beckham label too.

This is a poster they have done for GFSmith, I was very impressed in this they have used a metallic stock with a metallic foil which I thought would have been too much but I think it has worked very well and doesn't look tacky at all.

These was all very high quality finished. The black card to the left is for a restaurant to put their bills in. I like the foiling used within a pattern and also the electric blue foil used on the top left text.

I like the use of the colour edging. This is very professionally done by sandwiching a stock between two of the same stock. One has foil edging and the other is matt.

These was also included into the pack. This is the only one that includes a finishing which the gold overlay on the flowers. I although above was just normal printed on to thin and thick stocks to show they do all sorts of things.
