I had a mini crit with Sam Walker today as we both wanted feedback. I showed her mine and she thought it was very good and consistent but she said to try other colours so I told her about my issue of the colour purple not working. So she said to maybe try a deeper pink as the bright pink does shout girls. So i tried more of a dark magenta and I do think not only did it make it not gender bias. I think it also enhanced my design.
So therefore I have decided to change my colours I then realised that I had to pick a colour that was going to be web safe too.
So this is before & after, although there is only a slight change in colour it does connote both genders more and this is also a web safe colour. (#FF0099)
