Title Development

Firstly I started working with uppercase & lowercase, although once I started with the swirl development I found the difficulty within the lowercase as the letters have a larger difference in the x-high.

So then I decided to change the font to uppercase only, this allowed me to played around with the extension of the type and it started looking more like I wanted the aesthetic to look like.

I have now changed the alignment to the left as I thought would allow me to have a big swirl and build up the drama to the top right corner. I think this really works.

Then I thought about breaking up the word wonderland as this is a long word compared to Alice In. I placed the land more to the right so you would still read it correctly, like steps. I have also included a hyphen as this would not make sense without. I have decided to start from scratch with this because I realised that you needed to use the extension of the type to lead the readers eye across the words to read them, rather than just for decoration.

I have added extension to the left side make it balanced. I have taken these from the first logo development.

I have now extended the swirl from the A on the Alice to make sure it flows across the type. I have also made the swirl more equal & smooth lines this is so that it has the same aesthetic as the rest of the font.

I have now added the card symbols as this is a very significant part within Alice In Wonderland. I am very pleased with this so far I think the embalancement is very equal with a good amount of extension which still allow the words to speak for themselves.
