Progress of Final
Progress of Final.
So I have decided to change the typeface of my bodycopy in my booklets
So i have taken away the circles around the numbers & as they don't need them to stand out. But now I think that the neatness of the drawings stand out even more. Which I am now going to change due to the bodycopy been more readable & cleaner.
So I have decided to draw over my illustrations in illustrator so they keep the same consistent style of hand drawn but look cleaner & neater.
I am very please I change my layout. I have left a large bleed as I don't know how much I am going to have to cut once bound due to the page been laminated. I also, started to think about the pagination rather than just placing design. So I have realised that the title needs to be on the opening page rather on the inside of the double page spread. But I think this looks more professional. And it still portrays the hand rendered look.
I have started to create my finals for my look book.
I have decided to create my book with white mountboard due me wanting the book to be thick & people to think quality when they pick it up. Therefore the way I have to bind has been decided for me.
Also , I am going to deboss rather than emboss due to the mountboard. This would have been very thick and therefore either very difficult or not managable at all. I know deboss will work as it is very thick so therefore will sink in very well.
Here are the prints I got from many attempts:
