Layout Designs
Neasdon Control Centre Very abstract & simple. Specialises in hand rendered type & sporadic layouts. The grids are very simple but the images and text are overlapping.
Newwork Magazine It uses an obvious grid. Really structures & nice use of fonts with good use of negative space. The readbility is very clear due to the hierarchy of type. Very clinical & design lead. Cleverly done due to simplicity & original with elegance.
NoZine Screenprint layout publication. Uses a limited colour pallette. Uses a theme for each issue Can distinguish what is new and whats not. Uses a mix of hand rendered and type.
Geiger Magazine I like the use of overlay that this magazine uses. Also the layout of its broken down paragraphs that are still fluent and readable. The colour palette is very limited but effective.
Fifty Five Things I like the use of headline on one side and the writing of the other. The monochrome palette seems to be attracting my attention at the moment as it looks very clean and elegant.
