Communication is A Virus Self Evaluation
As a group what problem did you Identify & why?
In response to 10000 steps, we chose to use the shock factor as a method of capturing our audience. Although, once our posters had been put up, we had soon realised that they had been taken down therefore struggled to get the message out and to our target audience and people didn't know what our project was set on.
Also, we identified the fine line between offending someone and making it shocking as at first the group wanted to use obese people in the poster to create offense but we had to rethink as this could be majorly offending.

What methods did you use to gather your evidence to prove this was a problem and what forms did it take?
We has put them up around the college at night and by the time we came in on the morning, they had all been taken down and most people on our course had not seen the posters been produced and didn't know what we was doing.
What methods of research did you find useful & why?
The methods of research I found useful was the secondary research for the viral advertising as I wasn't too sure how to create it viral without using social networking and making a video. Finally, the primary research, which was a survey on what people use to research further on the subject. We found that most people didn't use a QR code and therefore we didnt end up putting ours in the final outcome.
What research could you have carried put that would have proved more useful?
We should have asked more questions about where and what we was allowed to put up in uni due to our posters not been up for long. Although they did seem to capture people attention how seen them. Also I think we should have done more research into how to make it shocking but in a more sophisticated and clever manner.
How did you manage the workload as part of a group?
We divided the workload by me and Laura taking it on board to do the innovative flyer so we would do the poster and the flyer inserts separately and collaborative at the end... Although, I did find it difficult to match both of the thing together as we didn't see each other. The final of the poster I wasn't very impressed with as it didn't work as it overlapped on the edges and our plan was to make it plain or the parts where you could see it on the inside. The boys in the group did the posters and other things as we didn't have a lot of time left after our idea had to be changed so many times due to offense etc...
